RAD exams will take place between 20th March and 3rd April.

Aladdin 6th March at the Whitley Bay Playhouse.

International Dance Teachers Association examinations will take place on Sunday 8th May. 

Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations.

Snow White

Congratulations to all who took part in Snow White. It was an excellent effort and the cheers at the last performance were well deserved.

This is a full school studio production taking place on the 24th and 25th March in Whitley Bay. There will be a dress rehearsal on Sunday 18th March at 4pm.

On Wednesday 11th July we will be having a demonstration of work from all the girls at Gosforth showing the development of the training. This will take place from 5pm until 6.15pm. Please put a note in your diary.

We run a number of events during the year including everything from single performances, full and adapted Theatre/Studio Shows and full Ballets.

This section is to be updated when the schedule of events for the year is fixed so plesae please keep checking back for details.

 We also continually perform at local shows. At Christmas we are performing on several Sheltered Housing complexes in the area.

School Frolics

We will be holding studio shows at intervals so please keep watching for oppertunities.

 Swan Lake

This was a great success enjoyed by all who took part. Thank you to all the pupils and parents for their help and support.

Michael Berkin Masterclass


On Sunday 18th October 2015 Michael Berkin, ex member of Birmingham Royal Ballet and current teacher at Northern Ballet came to the school to conduct a professional Masterclass in ballet. Master classes were held for both junior and senior students and were a great success enjoyed by all who took part.

La Fille Mal Gardee was a great success. All the children worked hard and seemed to have a fabulous time. Thank you to all the parents and helpers.

In the last few years we have put on an adaption of A Christmas Carol at Whitley Bay Playhouse, a Tour of Europe with Dance Kaleidoscope, and taken part in shows at a number of major performances at top theaters including The Sage Gateshead.

Pocahontas studio production was well received with the children having lots of fun and learning. Thanks to all involved.

We also organised a show for dancers and parents to show off their other tallents to school members!
